Dumbbells are a perfect addition to most of my classes, including my Bosu class and my resistance band class! My adaptive workouts can easily be personalised to be more challenging, and introducing dumbbells is a great way to push yourself even harder. Whether you’re lifting them whilst balancing on a Bosu Ball or whilst squatting with a resistance band, you’re sure to feel the burn and feel greater results in no time!
Absolutely. If you struggle to find the time to workout, my exercises are designed to involve as many muscle groups as possible, giving you a full body workout in no more than 45 minutes. By integrating dumbbells, you can fit even more strength training into your short and efficient workout.
I tend to recommend buying between 2kg-4kg sets of dumbbells to beginners but also a heavier pair between 5kg-7kg . This weight can easily be incorporated into a wide variety of workouts without putting too much strain on the arms and detracting from progress in other areas of the body.
I regularly use Miraft Dumbbell’s during my workouts. They are long lasting and comfortable, as well as having 5kg increments, making progress manageable!
